Content Rules & Club Guidelines
These rules keep Sports of Timor useful and trustworthy. They apply to every club profile, venue page, event page and photo. Breaking them leads to content removal; repeated or serious breaches lead to account suspension.
Accuracy
- Venue prices must be the real prices, per hour, including evening/lighting surcharges where they apply.
- Availability must be current — a bookable hour must actually be available.
- Training times and membership fees on club profiles must be kept up to date.
- Photos must show the actual club, venue or event. No stock photos, no other facilities, no misleading editing.
Legal status — martial arts and combat sports
- Martial-arts practice is regulated by law in Timor-Leste and is currently suspended nationwide by Government Resolution. No martial-arts club profiles are accepted while the suspension is in force.
- Once practice is lawful again, only groups holding the legally required registration and licence may maintain a profile. Profiles of banned, suspended or unlicensed organisations are removed on identification, and we cooperate with authorities as the law requires.
- All combat-sport content must present training and competition — never street violence or intimidation.
Safety & fair treatment
- No discriminatory content. Sport on this platform is open — stating age groups, skill levels or gender categories for teams and competitions is fine; degrading language about any group is not.
- Venues must describe real facility conditions; known hazards must not be concealed.
- Content involving minors must be posted by the responsible club or organiser, and never identify a child beyond name and team without guardian consent.
Prohibited
- Profiles for clubs, venues or events the Merchant has no right to represent
- Promotion of violence, gang activity, gambling on matches, or doping
- Duplicate profiles created to flood the directory
- Contact details or external links placed to bypass platform safety features
